Photographed the car several weeks ago in Baton Rouge, at an equestrian center that graciously allowed us access to the grounds on a Sunday when they were normally closed. Without their help, this session would have certainly faltered, as the locations I used were just perfect for the car. I wanted to invoke a sort of classic American feel, shooting some modern American muscle in a sunny farm environment. Plus, the owner has raised race horses all his life, so I thought it would be nice to pay homage to both of his passions in one shoot: Horses and Corvettes. Unfortunately, the horses were stabled on the weekend, so they weren't grazing in the fields as I had hoped. The location still exceeded my expectations nevertheless, so I'm quite happy with the results.

Not that I know of, hahaha. It's not my car; I'm just the photographer.

 

Nice shots, nice car. It would look so much better with the silver or grey wheels though. Not feeling the chrome.

What color is that? The new burgundy?

 

Yeah, I'm personally not a fan of chrome wheels on... anything. But it's not mine, so no worries.

Crystal Red Metallic Tintcoat is the official name of the color. And it looks quite good in person, I will admit. I'm actually digging it more than the always classic Torch Red.

 

I love that car, I would almost rather a modded one of those than a Z06.
