I believe it equals 12 normal size bottles. Would be awesome for a party or just to have for that special occasion.

It retails for around $1300.00 looking to get $650 plus shipping which should be around $40 or so.

You will always pay a per ounce premium for large format bottles, especially the really big ones and this is the second largest size out there. The price isn't just fair, it's a freakin' steal. I'd ****** it up in a second, but I already learned my lesson on large format bottles when a 6L I had turned to oxidized garbage from a weak cork, no doubt due to the fact that I had no use for it and no way to properly store it. A great party favor.

@ weaksauce--- is that an offer?

You can call any distributor in the country and it'll be around that quoted price. You might be able to find it online from some wholesaler in NY for around a grand.

Someone's must be getting married soon or having some kind of shindig this spring...?

A Nebuchadnezzar is 15L. A 9L is a Salmanazar. To the best of my knowledge, the largest bottle Veuve Cliquot produces is a 12L Balthazar. Not that's much of an issue for NV Champagne, but remember that the larger the bottle, the more slowly the wine matures.
