We keep the most popular sizes of the R888's in stock and if we do not have it in stock we can get it in 1-2 days!

How do they compare to the RA1 in overall grip and longevity?

This may be a mute point depending on what size you are looking because they dont make all the same sizes on both tires. But lets assume that we are talking about the same size. They have the same rating of 100 AA A so traction will be the same but you will get more life out of the RA-1 because it starts at 8/32nds compared to the R888 starting at 6/32nds. The main difference between the two is the casing. The R888 will have a stiffer sidewall.

I hope this answers your question.
