Ricer GT3

Never thought I would see the ricey taillights on such a beautiful car. Also notice the hideous attempt for LED DRLs.. Talk about tasteless modification..

The rest of the car is absolute ****! Ditch the eBay mods and call it a day!

Judging by the track wheel/tire setup and the fact that the car is located in Birmingham, AL right next to Barber Motorsports Park and the Porsche Sport Driving School, I'd say it's safe to say the car has seen some track time and was owned by a true enthusiast...

I didn't even know they made the Ricer tail lights for a Porsche, I thought they were limited to VW's and Honda's.

Because of some aftermarket running LED's and different tails? Are you really being serious?

I'd rather see this 'riced' GT3 on the road then a boring white stock one any day of the week. I enjoy people who drive their cars and even more so someone who, dare I say it, PERSONALIZES their car. This thread is nothing more than one big petty complaint.

what defines an enthusiast? I'd rather see a 996GT3 with LED's being thrashed on the track than an all original 996GT3 in pristine condition with no track scars sitting outside Starbucks.... but thats just me....

I don't think it's that bad. While I certainly wouldn't do it to a GT3 of my own, it's far from "purely tasteless". You can even order a new 997.2 GT3 or RS from the factory with similar clear "rice" tail lights now, and I've already seen a few on the road and at the track spec'd like that, so apparenty some people actually like this look whether they're enthusiasts or not.

I was looking at this car a couple days ago and also thinking it was a bit ricey. But, what do you guys think is a fair price for this thing? I wonder if his $39,300 reserve price takes it, or if he's looking for way more than that?...

Well his reserve WILL take it as long as there aren't too many bidders. I'm sure the car has seen it's fair share of "use" and the money saved on picking this car up cheap will be best used in updating the mechanics. Maybe change those "ricer" lights too...
