Loves me a clean black car
Finally had a chance to wash my car after logging about 800 miles from a recent trip to California.
Did a full detail a few months ago (wash, clay, 2 step polish, LSP), so just a wash and 2 layers of wax this time around. Still getting some dirty brake water at the bottom of the wheel barrels, but better after I started blowing out the water with hand vac.

I admittedly didn't vacuum the rugs

looks awesome Ed!
Is the red deviated stitching only on the steering wheel?
What pedals are those?
I always planned on brushed rims with polished lips but I must say your rims look
awesome too.
Lovely car...just waiting for a tune!

Pedals are Rennline. Great hardware. Lots of contorting to install, but well worth it. And by far, they have the best customer service I've encountered thus far, bar none.
Always the wise-*******

Actually did miss a few spots which I didn't notice until I got it out in the sun. Once the car is washed, it goes directly into the garage because it's just too damned hot outside to do any of the other steps.
Your car is stunning bonehead. The condition of the paint is simply amazing. I wish my black has the same condition that you have (Too much rock chips on the front end) LOL
Enjoy your nice ride!
Cheers,
Alan

Looks awesome! I hate that dirty brake water too. Wheels look great until you move it and the brake water gets 'em all dirty again. How do you wash the inside lip? I can't even get my hand in there!
Thanks Ken. BBI Stage III, 200 cell cats. (loud version).
Thanks guys!
Thanks SB. As far as the inside barrel, I've tried numerous brushes. This one is the best so far.

EZ-detail brush. 2 sizes. Small one good for smaller spaces, large one good for the inside barrels/spokes. Bought mine from detailedimage.com (don't think any of the 6spd sponsors have them).

Thanks Mike. No, not yet. Spoke to the CalCover rep at Super Car Sunday in SoCal a few weeks back. I just have to remember to call them during business hours
