997TT Exterior Conversion to GT2 - NR Auto or OEM GT2

Hi Guys,

I am seriously considering doing this conversion and wanted to know the following:

- How is the fitment of the NR Auto parts comapared to OEM?
http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/a...o-p-59650.html

- Has anyone done the NR Auto GT2 Style Conversion?

- Is there a place to get wholesale prices on the OEM GT2 Body Parts?

- What is the full list of parts needed from Porsche for an OEM conversion?

Any advice is always welcome.

THANKS

Hello,

I have NR AUTO GT2 front bumper and REAR SPOILER.

I would not recommend the front bumper.

It has fitment issues. However you can buy the rear spoiler.

If you have the budget, go with OEM GT2 parts.

Regards,
Emre

Go OEM 100%! It will fit perfect! You don't want a rep unless you want to spend a ton of money making it fit! Plus most rep products are made out of a mold in fiberglass and never fit properly...

Can you put up some pics please

Can you explain what had to be done to resolve the fitment issue?

Any idea where one can get the best deal on an OEM GT2 Bumper?

What exhaust would you recommend for a Daily Driver? I used to have an F430 and loved the sound so much. I know it wont ever sound like an F430, but I want an amazing, loud, put a smile on face exhaust. Been thinking about the Europipes Stage 2, Fabspeed or FVD

Bad timing.

There was a guy selling an OEM nose on here for $2,500 which was probably a great deal. In the states, but would've been worth it to ship to UK. Don't see them all that often.

OK, I don't know if this is the *BEST* deal but I got my GT2 rear bumper from Suncoast and it was a pretty good deal.

Talk to Phil Anderson at Suncoast and he can tell you exactly what you need.

As for the exhaust, you'll love the EP II. That's what I use and it's one of the reasons I went with the GT2 bumper. I wanted the 3.5" round tips and they just didn't look right in the turbo bumper.

The EP II has deep, manly sound without what I would call drone. You hear it with the windows down but it's not at all unpleasant in any way.

Take a look at our front bumper. it is simmilar to the GT2 bumper and includes new ductwork and a 3 peice carbon fiber lip that is cheap and easy to replace if it gets damaged.

I am thinking to do the same to my 997tt, just with GT2 RS parts instead of GT2
