RENNtech/Akrapovic Titanium Exh. w/ Sound

As an update to the install on our Akrapovic C63 full titanium exhaust system, we have just finished our in house install on our C74 project car and are delighted to say that the exhaust truly exceeded our expectations in both quality and performance. It's fit and finish were top notch and the resulting exhaust note is amazing. It has a deep growl and rich tonal qualities which are completely unique to it's titanium construction. The resulting sound is much deeper when compared to a similar system in stainless steel. Below you will find some install pictures as well as a video to judge for yourself.

Exhausts systems are going fast as we have already sold two and are the only dealer who has sold or installed one of these systems. There are only a few remaining before another production run sometime in the new year. Those interested should call RENNtech directly at 561-845-7888 to reserve your exhaust.

Not to get off topic, but the width of those tires is crazy. What size are they?

Out of curiosity, Why do you not equalize the banks with a x pipe or mid-pipe? It would get rid of a lot of the "American Muscle car v8" pulsating sound under acceleration. Otherwise, looks great- nice fittment and clean work.

Thanks for the every ones feed back. The exhaust was installed on our C74 Project car, which is a wide body version of the C63. The wheels on the rear of the car are 20 x 10.5” Rennntech Signature 3 Piece Forged Aluminum Wheels with 305 / 25 / CR 20 Nitto Invo tires. You can read more about that project here:

To answer the question regarding the systems design; the exhaust is from Akrapovic and was designed and produced entirely by them. RENNtech is a proud partner and authorized dealer for their entire exhaust line, including Porsche, Audi and Ferrari to name just a few of their applications.

The sound is certainly not what you would expect from a Mercedes and I can see how it can be likened to an American muscle car. In fact, I almost think a better example would be that of a Ducati super sport bike. Strangely enough, a partnership between Mercedes AMG and Ducati was announced just this week. The sound, however, I truly feel is something that video really doesn't quite do justice and truly needs to be seen and felt (since it is so incredibly light weight) to truly appreciate it fully.

Thanks again for every ones questions, interest and feed back in this post.

Regards,
Mark & the team at RENNtech

I often wonder this myself.

A lot of haters on the other forums. Personally, I like the sound. It's not over the top loud or have that annoying pop on deceleration.

Its interesting that the Z06 application has a crossover section and no resonators but the Benz system does not.
