Centerlock Beauty...
Centerlock Beauty...
Just finished up an install of our new RG72 Centerlock wheel on a 2011 Turbo S, and it just looked so good that we had to pull it into the studio for a quick photoshoot.
Here are some specs on the wheels:
Front: 19x9.0 21.05 pounds
Rear: 19x12.0 23.15 pounds
Each wheel is of course made using the same 1 piece forged technology used in every wheel in our lineup. That means they're simply the best looking, lightest, and strongest wheels for your Turbo. Feel free to contact me for pricing and availability.
On to the pics. If you'd like to see the full sized hi-res versions, click here:

The center lock looks good, but the wheel design is a bit dated. What I mean by this is that, most wheel companys are going to a concave design and doing away with the lip. The manufacturing process and tooling have come a long way since this wheel design first came out. With the center lock option now available, I would expect to see more cutting edge and lighter wheels. Again this is just my opinion.

We based this wheel off our extremely successful RG5 wheel. Year after year, the RG5 continues to be our most popular wheel, with orders coming through for sets just about every day.
Some people say it's "dated", but I prefer to think of it as a classic design that will never get old. With dozens of "extreme" wheel designs floating around out there and all sorts of gimics, some people find comfort in old faithful.

I'd give it 3 thumbs up if I could borrow another thumb.
I don't remember the model, but my 1st set of BBS wheels almost 20 years ago had the same design. It was beautiful then, and it's still beautiful...on any car!

I didn't weight the factory centerlocks to be honest, because they still had tires on them. Next time we take a set off and swap tires, I'll definitely make sure to slap 'em on the scale for you guys.
