Been busy,...since my last visit. Aside from customers cars, I've found some time(not nearly enough) to work on my own ride for a change. It's nearly ready to start up....with just a few more things left on the checklist to complete. Last setup was the PTK twin turbo setup, same way is was...
..in case you don't remember me.

that was then,., a 346ci stock bottom end, heads am cam, stock fuel system, maxed out @ 5800rpms..... 12 degrees of timing and 11.5 psi....making 787rwhp and 696ft-lbs....has been a little upgraded, in the year or so I have had it down. I've done everything on a budget, when I could afford, and when I had the time.
Now:
LS2 stock displacement 364ci forged bottom end, eagle rods, diamond pistons, I acquired in trade. I bought Total Engine Airflow TRICK FLOW 235's, springs for 700 lift, bronze seats and guides for some serious high boost for long period. Virginia Speed camshaft, undisclosed specs, FAST 90, Ported 90mm TB, magnafuel XL750 fuel pump, -10 feed, -8 return, boost referenced FPL from magnafuel. motorsport 160's. versafuel injector driver box, double roller chain, and finally using my FAST fuel rails that had to be modified pretty much a lot to make work but,..thats show buisness.
Other things I have done is full polyurethane control arm bushings, which feel more like hard graphite then anything,...which will be AWESOME with my coilovers. I lava wrapped everything. Like, firewall, frame rails, headers, hood,...everything, in effort to keep everything cool, and also look pretty cool, to me. I added some heat extractor vents that I came up with. Few things I have never seen on a vette before, so for me,..it's cool to see something *new, or different. I painted the back black,..but I didn't want a shiny black,..I wanted a sheen to it, or almost plastic. I achieved that by having a buddy at our body shop do it(painting isnt my thing). I also added some C5R styled lights, which I painted the tops black,.. came out good.
....I am sure I missed a thing or two.... but, the car is intended for 1 mile burst,...hoping to do well at the standing mile events across america, atleast for the Corvette community. I plan on making good power, hoping for 1X00 at the rear tires. I have enough fuel, and enough turbo to do it,...also, had the precision 67mm turbos treated in some black heat coating... looks good, functional too. I made my own filters.... couple of other things , oh, MTX innovate wide bands,..2, 1 for each bank. -12 catch cans, 1 for each valve cover.
I am a few pieces short of starting it,..I have the parts, just little time lately. Trying to get it done very soon..
The car will be on E85, this time around.

Yeah man.... nobody could...coulda woulda made more but, the fuel pump that was in the car had other ideas. Funny thing is, the goal was 650 rwhp for the setup.... the car made over 700rwhp on it's first pass.... from that moment on, Brian McMahon and Johan Mangs(of diablosport) tried to back pedal and make the car have less power.... it kept making more cause we were able to rev it higher the more we backed off... the wastegates wouldn't hold the car to 8 psi.... we were seeing 11.5(38mm gates at the time-now 44's)...soo,...the setup is efficent and stout. Look at the corvette forum big dawgs list,....everyone above and around my name on there,..all have built motors....more boost,..i'm happy with it,..hoping now to make the car that much more wicked.
(before) from a 35mph roll,...on a tire,..it's brutal.

thanks man, glad the car and I can convince you that the C5's have potential. I don't think I mentioned, mine is a 2000 hard top, or Fixed Roof Coupe,...something available from 99-00 only,...in 01, they gave the car some good, much needed performance minded upgrades, and rebadged it as a Z06. I put the brake ducts on the car, which helps cool one of my fuel pumps off but... you'll never find a Z06 emblem on the car,.. it's not a Z06, why say it is ya know?.. Thanks again bro.
woo. Thanks

Yeah, I know what ya mean. I hope that there will be another one in the future sometime!
Cool, looking forward to checking it out sometime.
Later bro,

Nope, ah.. oh yeah.... DEPO lights.. the black versions,... I painted the roof of them black, so light doesn't emit out the top. Someone wanted to trade me my pop up lights plus cash for them... good cash. I took them,...as I wanted them anyways for my night time roll racing.

The Spectre Werks are really nice pieces, I loved them on mine...but I never did different projectors for bi xenons or bought a 2nd xenon kit for the inside lights.
