Does anyone make a dual mode exhaust like the PSE for a Turbo?
I think you need a Tubi Race Exhuast No Cats. Its really not that much louder thank stock crusing around at 2,xxx rpm. But when you pin the throttle is roars like a tiger....

If I were to do it all over again, I would have still made the same choice. No Cats are better for the enviorment.

I think I ran into you at International Mall over the weekend and I can confirm the exhaust seems tame at low RPMs and has a nice growl as it goes up.

Still, I wish there was a PSE variant for the 997TT. I really want something that is like stock most of the time and very loud when I want it.

Car-Narcissist, Thanks for posting this. I spent yesterday searching for the info and never got around to posting it so hopefully we will both find an answer here.

I found this one recently ,might be what your looking for ,Cargraphic it looks pretty cool you can open or close the exhaust flaps with a hand held keychain remote control, watch the video http://www.cargraphic.de/index.php?/s,6,7,18,2987,3080/ as far as sound i started with a Miltek known to be the quietest exhaust around then moved up to a Fabspeed & now i have a custom BBI catless version which they can adjust the sound of for you & love it.

Both TechArt and Capristo manufacture valved exhausts for the 997TT as well.
They have their problems though so research a bit.

I myself find that my Europipe fit the bill exactly. On idle and partial throttle, it sounds exotic but very civilized. On WOT, it just explodes.

Heard the europipe and its the best sounding 997.2 turbo exhaust so far!

GT-TT is infamous around these partsGT-TT is infamous around these parts
have this system custom made by sportec based on the stock gt2 titanium muffler. Best solution of sound/ power as the muffler bypass reduces backpressure to virtually 0 (from 200-300mbar for most good AM exhausts). Mine operates via an ecu with boost and makes a VERY noticeable difference in power torque. Measured at 25-30hp and at least 50nm on the dyno. To be honest in the road you feel the difference even more.
Probably the most reliable hp you can make on a high boost tt.
The sound is very cool as well as i really like the GT2 muffler sound.
Btw i have tried cargraphic and EP (on a 996tt) before as well as stock exhaust with 200 cats. This was the only solution that left me 100% satisfied.

M&M Exhaust in Germany,

http://www.m-m-germany.de/ENG/index.php?page=1000

For 997.2 in stainless steel:

http://www.m-m-germany.de/ENG/CMS/ti..._datasheet.pdf

For 997.1 turbo also in titanium:

http://www.m-m-germany.de/CMS/tinymc...Datenblatt.pdf

They use HJS cats and at least in my 996 exhaust Pierburg pneumatic valves.
