That's amazing. It's obvious that the Porsche accelerates harder. Possibly due to lighter weight?

Here is the tricky thing with Porsche's, they come out of corners harder than almost any car and go into corners a bit slower. Getting behind a 911 is a tough space to come out of. You're forced to slow down too much coming into the corner, only to see the 911 in front of you rocket away out of the turn.

 

To me it looked like the 997TTS was going into the corners smoking HOT, breaking much later than the GTR... have to watch it again.

 

didnt think with such similar numbers that the 911 could just pull around him like that like there on the hway

 

some really bad driving by tiff. the lines were all wrong. driving wasn't smooth at all.

 

Thanks for the post. Jason is no slouch as a driver and Tiff well its Tiff. Great fight.

 

Seemed like Tiff was over driving that car. He got caught up in a bit of understeer there for a bit. Thanks for posting.

 

The track is very short with even shorter straights, yet the Porsche outaccelerates the GTR very very easy every chance it gets... No contest there for one more time.... Sorry GTR lovers....
I wonder how they would do in a 0-300km/h test...
Naaahhhhhh.... I know that Porshce would finish 100m in front of the GTR... Been there, done that with many different stages GTR's...
