looking for Hermes Birkin
My wife wants another birkin. Any one have any connection or leads? Greatly appreciate if you know someone. I didn't realize that this was hard to get.

Wish you'd posted earlier. An online "flash sale" site I'm on just had a sale on them this weekend. As if having them available wasn't enough, they were also on sale! Send me your email if you'd like a link to join but I doubt that offer will come back any time soon.

To be honest, if you are flexible with color and hardware, you can get them pretty easily from Hermes boutiques. My wife was able to get a chocolate 35cm and a navy 30cm just by walking into the store. It may be harder where you are though. I recall that the Costa Mesa store sells out fast. It's all about having good timing.

Hermes was on beyondtherack.com today, but no Birkins. They did have Kellys. The flash sale places sell vintage = preowned birkins. I recommend finding a nice one while on vacation out of state and have it shipped in to save on tax. That's probably your best option.

That's probably the only way to go, is to visit Hermes out of state. Man, I would go broke just looking for one. My sister in-law went to Hermes Vegas store today but no such luck. Maybe you can drop by the BH store for me from time to time

Okay, even though I cannot comprehend the justification for such indulgence. I was in Union Square (San Francisco) yesterday and the Hermes store there had a large variety of these desirable satchels available for all of you guys to purchase for your wives and girlfriends, or both. BTW, the new Porsche Design Store was right across the street, opened in March.
