planning to get a used Turbo. a few questions I need to ask here to make sure.
1, When porsche will redesign their Turbo line?
2, What year should I get? I don't want to have a too old one. at least a 997, with some new features for recent year models. and has the similar looking of the current model, but I don't want to pay too much. I need to be balance on this.
3, They change the exterior a little bit every year, not always to better looking, so what year do you like best for exterior looking?
4, how much do I expect to pay?
thank you! !

You should get either a 2007 or 2008 with a 6-speed manual. There is no difference in exterior from 2007-2009. 2009 has upgraded navigation module. Not worth the extra 10-15k imho for a 2009.
I'd get an 07 or 08 with lower mileage and use the change to update wheels, taillights and suspension, etc. Some are very particular about the interior updates, e.g. touchscreen nav, bluetooth, etc...if that's not a priority for you and you want a 6spd trans then you'll be very happy with an 07/08. IMHO...the new models look awesome with the leds...you have options to update the OEM units to led, which IMO truly adds to the vehicle.
ok. 08 with low mileage is the ideal one. white TT with natural brown interior leather. then put some money for TechArt body kits and LED lights!

Looks like you'll need to go with an '07 or '08 TT if you plan on keeping it around $100K all in. Don't forget you have the import taxes, etc.: 6.1% foreign automaker tax plus the HST of 12% to tack on to the purchase price ( plus the RIV import and inspection fees, any transportation costs, etc. which could get up to $1500 + depending on where you obtain the car). Might as well add on 20% to your final purchase price, so back that off of your budget of $100K.
Good luck with purchase and post your story. It would be interesting to hear about.

To the OP,
I just bought a white 997TT and couldn't be happier. If Zinger's car is within your 100K budget, this is seriously worth considering. All the upgrades are done, just ship across the border and enjoy.
