As many of you have seen on the forum recently Formula 43 has been busy building wheels for a variety of applications from Mark Stielow's 69 Camaro, known as "Red Devil" (as seen in Car & Driver), Brim's 2011 GT3RS w/ 18" centerlocks, BMW, VW, Corvette Z06 and many others.

Currently our most popular wheel is the RAD10 18" Club Sport. The RAD10 is an excellent DE, Club and Autocross wheel that features a combination of strength, stiffness, light weight, quicker moment of interia and multiple wheel width, offset and caliper clearance combinations for a variety of sports cars.

In particular we have these available for quick shipment for Porsche 944, 968, 993, 996, 997, Boxster & Cayman applications.

Also, the RAD10 has completed extensive testing and achieved the only aftermarket wheel cerification available for North America currently, SAEJ2530. See our website for a copy of the certificate and also our inner rim impact testing results.

Do they come in 19"? For a NB 996?

 

GoAirforce84, Yes available as the RAD10 19" for narrowbody 996 applications.

We can build a 8.5X19 or 9.0X19 front and 11.0X19 or 12.0X19 rear wheel for you.

I have yet to track it but plan on it soon, nothing really serious, just for my enjoyment. I just love the design on these, and was looking for 19's for asthetic reasons. It's just a bonus that they are light and strong as well. Roads here are smooth and nice so I see no problems running 19x8.5, 19x11.

 

Your very fortunate to have smooth roads for your Porsche. 19" always looks better with the longer spoke profile and you now have good tire selection in 19".

Here's a few pics from last weekend at the Mid-Ohio Grand Am Continental Tire Sport Car Challenge.

Automatic Racing finished a great season with our RENN10 18" race wheels. Happy to report that the wheels performed great with no issue's for the entire season.

Automatic Racing was our first customer and we developed this wheel fitment specifically for their new E90 M3.

Formula 43 has all three sets here at our facility and we will re-finish the centers with our Stealth black finish, add our Race Bead Blast treatment and replace all the bolts with our newly designed exclusive Formula 43 hardware.

Here's a set of stunning RAD20 18" wheels built for a 1986 Porsche 930.

8.5X18 front and 11.0X18 rear with clear anodized centers and mirror polished outer rims.

These also feature Boothe Design center caps anodized to match with Gold inlaid Porsche crests.

Can't wait to see pics of these on the car!

We're very happy with the performance of the wheels. Early lab testing of the wheels was very impressive and even the techs. at the independent wheel lab commented on how robust and stiff the wheels are.

Customers have been very happy with the increased performance the wheels provide at the track. With competitive pricing, quick build times, made in the USA and using our exclusive German "Spin-Form" rim half's, it's winner for the end customer!

The driver of the blue Cayman is Jack Baldwin. Winner of the Daytona 24hr and is driving a GT3 at the 2012 24hr as well.
