That car belong to you, Perkman? 3.8 conversion, bigger turbos. I assume Todd K did the tune? How much is it putting down on pump/race fuel?

The video is actually 9 minutes 11 seconds, that I will never get back! So I watched it three times :-) Great video and very meticulous work by Proto-Tech. Thanks for the post.

Impressive. The only thing I question is the air inlets in the bumper around the intercooler. Is it possible that it could get wet if the car is driven in the rain and it enters the side air intakes???

I know the Filters themselves are fairly high (in terms of placement) The location has been tested on prior builds, and has had no water encounters as of yet.

3.8L with forged pistons, rods, studs, high rate valve springs and some port work ; thats really amazing... I just had my 3.6L built with only rods, studs, and some gaskets. Im drooling to tear it down all over again.

What kind of turbos are those? Tial gt35s?

More importantly this filter setup actually robs airflow away from the ICs.. There is a way to do it outside the IC vents (that are actually removed in this conversion..) and I have tried it. It makes a lot of torque (and noise) but still there is risk of water as well as heat soak in the summer months vs the original factory setup.
