New Daily Driver: 2012 C63 AMG
Having owned a silver 2008 ISF, silver 2009 GTR, white 2009 ISF, white 2011 GTR and a white 2011 BMW M3...I have had some good seat time in many desireable daily drivers. The ONLY car that I have always wanted but not had is the C63 AMG. I decided to go ahead and move the M3 last week and pick up a 2012 C63. They made some changes to the 2012 including a complete interior redo, a facelift on the exterior, some suspension tweaks and the MCT tranny out of the SL63/65 line.
I didn't know how hard it was finding an "iridium silver" sedan with performance package. For 2012 the performance package adds power, extends max mph and gives you some red calipers. HP is rated at 481 but several 2012 owners have reported 430-440 rwhp, I will dyno mine at TX2K12. So far I LOVE the C63, I have not hammered it yet but plan on doing so soon.
The one I was able to find was already built so I had no choice on options, the ONE option I do not like is "chrome door handle inserts" and the one option I wish I had is the "lighting package". I had no clue that an $80k car does NOT come with HID's standard.
I plan to pick up some aftermarket HID's for the car. On to the pics, enjoy:
