My wife a few years ago bought a bag by Hermes for like $9,000 and sold it on eBay in 24 hours for $12,000. She collects bags but she wasn't keeping that one, at least not while I'm alive.

haha yea bags are expensive. The Hermes Berkins has a one year wait list I believe and can get up to as much as $25,000 depending on how you order it.

There is a bag on EBay that's exactly like the one I'm selling. Starting bid is $3,999 and Buy It Now is $4,999. Trust me guys, this is HARD to get.

It doesn't take long for fakes to flood the market. This one costs $240. I found it online with Google.

 

Yup. The copies are horrible. The colors are dead and the quality is non-existant. Not to mention the bag does not even look like the original style (ie. the fake one has red leather along the bottom, the real one does not).

Usually in the past, the AUTHENTIC limited edition bags have their values rocket when the fakes start pouring out and all the stores are sold out. I've sold a few $700-$800 bags for close to $2,000. Just have to find the right buyer that will pay for the real thing
