i love the design of the new 997.2 turbo II wheels but feel the polished face of the 997.1 wheels contrasts better to the carrera white 997.1 tt. i dont want to lower the car, hence i want to stick with an oem wheel. trying to decide between 997.1 with spacers or upgrade to the new 997.2 turbo II wheels.

thoughts?
opinions?
experiences?

thx in advance

I think the turbo II wheels look great and update the car. Far fewer turbos rolling around with that wheel.

Turbo II wheels without question but if I were spending that much on wheels I'd look into something else.

+100

Definitely look into something else. Perhaps a set of HRE's or Techarts. I don't know what size you're looking to go, but there are some amazing solutions out there.

I have upgraded to the Turbo II wheels on my 997.1TT, add some LED taillights and it has taken a couple of years of the car. It even fooled my neighbour who has a 997.2 carrera.

Same with mine (wheels/tails). If you want to update, but keep stock look, this is great. Very happy with mine.

Geoff, how do you like the softtronic? I'm thinking about tune and this is both cheap and convenient (not always good on an expensive car)
