Cause I had one on order from Dealer here in Vancouver , they are charging me $9700 MSRP CDN . + Tax .

None taken, the market dictates pricing around $11K these days. Get me 10 of them at $7,800 US and I will pay you a $10,000 finders fee.

Is this a 2005 model or a "brand new" older watch?

Are the older daytonas better because the movement was made by GP?

The previous daytona 4030 mvmnt was a modified El Primero mvmnt not made by GP. The new 4130 mvmnt is much better overall than the previous 4030.

The El Preimero was made by Zenith and the new Rolex movement is far superior, as mentioned above.
