Interior illumination

Do the climate control buttons typically illuminate on the 997?

Also- I find that my illuminated "turbo", stainless steel door sills occasionally flicker. What could cause this? Is it unheard of?

Interesting about the flickering.

Any comments on the illumination? Is it normal for the climate controls *not* to illuminate?

Thanks for letting me know. I was 99% sure they should illuminate. Mine do not under any circumstance.
