If you have ever been to New York City, then you will know a Mercedes S65 is a must. You probably also know that you are not driving the car but that is your chauffeur! But for the rest of us peasants that have to drive a Bi-Turbo luxury pavement slayer, you might as well do it in style. Already an extremely comfortable sedan, like all cars, the stock wheels have got to go! This customers Mercedes S65 got a new flush stance with this set of HRE Wheels 794RS 21 inch wheels. Finished in a tinted brushed center, the outer lip is complimented in a gloss black which fits this grays Benz nicely. The 21x9 and 21x10.5 inch wheels feature a slightly more aggressive offset to the 3 piece wheels and along with the recommended tire size of 255/30/21 and a 295/25/21, this new dreamliner is set!

 

Dare i say the black lips make the rims look too small..

Love the car, not so much the combo.

 

The black lips just ruin it for me. Completely ruined the look.

 

...I thought the whole point of getting a bigger wheel is to show off. What's the point of getting 21" if you are going to hide the look of the 21"? Should've just gotten 20" with thicker rubbers. That would look better than that combo.

Great choice of wheels, poor color combo decision IMO.

 

I think that a design vague... a really vague that resembles the AMG rims could be better... the point is dont loose that AMG essence of the S65

Took another look to see if my view would change. It didn't.

Many times I think about getting into the wheel business and I wonder how I would handle customers who wanted something I thought did not look good.

would have to agree with the guys above...not diggin the black lips on those rims...I went straight to the pictures like many, and didnt even realize it was a black lipped rim at first...my first thoughts were that the owner decided to go with some rims that were way too small for the car...didnt realize that they were actually 21's until I read your description.

To each their own and if the owner likes it, then thats all that really matters

 

Those are some sick *** 18" wheels!!!! Oh wait....

 

I wonder if the owner listened to us and changed those lips?

 

decent... not worth the big mony tho. needs more lip in the back.
perhaps if it were chrome lip and black spokes, it'd be better.
