Reminds me when I was cruising south on I 95 in S.C. In my E55 and passed a guy in an E350 rebadged as an E55.

 

so weird how is it that everyone with a e55 got a 911 turbo...

still got my e55 renntech... how is it that you did the transition?

Why?? God why?? What I never get is who these guys are trying to fool? The only ones who would care, are the same guys who know that is not a turbo S. If it's for girls, they don't give a sh$t because girls only know brands, not models. The best one I saw was a C230 that had the emblem CLK320. That's even worse because ones a 4 door and the other is a 2 door!!

 

It's sad that such posers exist. And well said MK. The only people that would care are those that would know. Well almost. I'm sure the guy fools maybe 10-20% of people that notice it.

What's even sadder that I can't believe nobody has pointed out yet is that the scripts are in the wrong place! I guess this guy (and all of you) can get a pass for this one though since the 911 is clearly in the way of fitting the new scripts on the deck lid.

 

Wait, so that's NOT really a Turbo S? Yeah the misplaced badge also looks stupid. Wait a minute, is that a RUF badge where the normal script would go?! Ugh, why? Why whyyyyyyyy???? :Shakes angry fist: It's a nice car to begin with, they don't need to be posers, it's already a really nice car!!

 

No that's a 911 badge. This may be a millennium edition car or somebody just put that badge on there.

Especially true if this is a millennium edition with the factory X51 and the other mods!

 

Why would someone doing this bother any of you? It matters not.

 

Lol, can't count how many times I've seen M3 AND M5 badges on 3 series cars. Merc dealers put AMG badges on just because its fitted with AMG wheels.
