TT goat2

Here is a vid from the track rental yesterday. We took a stock GTO, with a custom twin turbo kit..on pump gas. We've gone 11.50 @ 128mph in the car... but this pass in it's maiden voyage for this day...I will upload more as they load up.

Here's the car...

TARZAN is infamous around these parts
I'm guessing there are plans for more engine in the near future?

Yea, but just a supporting bottom end and a hefty fuel system. 1000wheel will be the end result but, probably keeping down to a 750/850 wheel daily driver setup. We built this thing as a daily driver/sleeper. We achieved that so far. Really happy with the turnout so far.

Congrats, you have definitely accomplished that

You picked the right platform to make big power with relatively few engine modifications......but you already knew that

Ahhh...Turbo, you say? AWESOME. Link me to some pics bro, I wanna hear about this. I fell in love with them myself a while back...and can't seem to keep my filthy hands off them since. Best things I added to a car ever other then good tires and coilovers. I am good myself...left cadillac,...work for a local race supply shop now...mostly all custom fab stuff/fuel/exhaust/cold side plumbing stuff...etc. Lots and lots less stress. Plus I get to talk to gear heads....all day long.

Also...lol...I hear Porsche's dynoed just about everyday...sometimes all day long next door to us(next door shop). Pretty cool location/atmosphere. Got the vette together on new setup...spun the 900ftlbs twin disc first time out.... upgraded to a triple disc, that I had to build off my twin(yeehaw)...and now, after all together.... one disc seems slightly warped/tweaked from factory or some how my fault?... We'll never know lol but...I am frustrated with it....so it sits. I have several family and friends projects I am doing on almost every weekend....so, I have little free time.

And I am trying to buy house, and a used Tahoe. Bam,..life story.

Thanks Will. The LS platform engines are great. I have several backups and variants of LS motors for rainy days or future projects. They're pretty great, in any configuration. Supply them with air and plenty of fuel.... they seem to work pretty well.

For the GTO....if my vette doesn't perform super great power wise,..I may take the turbos off it,..and donate them to the GTO...and see how it likes those suckers.
