Am going to look at an 08 Turbo w 18k miles at Porsche dealer. It has sport chrono. What do you figure the car is worth? It can be bought CPO'd.

If the vehicle is certified and in good condition, $90k would be a reasonable offer..

 

I would think less then 90. I thought the market for these was around low 80's now. No?

All turbos have leather and with rare exception sport chrono. Carbon switch panel is extremely rare and stupid expensive. Alcantara inserts are very rare too - but you need to like them. In my search, PTV is cool and very rare - locking diff is more common, but pretty rare too. Most of the dealers I've seen have not been aggressive with pricing and they'd rather let them sit. My call - I would be stunned if the car is listed for less than 89 and would be very surprised if they would consider anything less than 85, especially with CPO. If the DME checks out, this would be a beautiful car to own and potentially worth paying top dollar. Good luck.

Wow, I correct myself given they are only asking $84k for it. That's a reasonable offer. I didn't see the carbon switch panel on the car. Looks like a nice one - the car has been on that lot for a while, hence the price reduction, I don't remember what it was before. Search here for DME scan, the dealer can tell you the over rev history of the engine. CPO buys piece of mind regardless. Seems that prices have softened up a bit or perhaps this car has another issue. Note that the tires look like all seasons - not sure how they CPO without Porsche spec tires.

 

Search DME and get an independent PPI (pre purchase inspection).

 

Can anyone suggest someone to do a PPI in the Colorado Springs / Denver area?

 

I almost purchased this car in October. My only concern with it was the possibility of staining the Alcantara seat inserts. otherwise it was the perfect car with very nice carbon packages.

I wound up buying a 09' TT from a 6speed member for a few $ more.

 

That's a nice car for 85 and a without question buy the sob for 80.
Some really nice options there, I didn't even know they offered the ptv in 08, sweet.

 

Thats a great looking car. I think you can buy it for right around the 80000 mark.

Do a careful ppi. Those are N rated snows, probably a DD.

 

what about placing a value on an 07 gt silver on black with 49k miles very clean in and out, not many options (chrono & heated non *** seats) from private seller with no CPO?
