I'd like to update the interior/exterior of my 997TT with CF.
Right now i'm looking at ROTec, but i'm open to other vendors.

MA Carbon. Ordered some custom sills and they are awesome. Very good customer service also.

 

MA Carbon are very good but Rottec and DB are just as good.... and way cheaper.... MA Carbon really need to adjust their prices.... ENOUGH WITH THE PORSCHE TAX.

 

You get what you pay for... I've used both companies. MACarbon is a higher quality. It's up to you to decide if it's worth it.

Also MACarbons customer service is 2nd to none... they will always make things right.

 

Rottec and DB are just as good... We are not talking about Agency Shower... I never hear anybody complaining about Rottec or DB....

But that is just my opinion....

 

You can do a search. I just tend not to complain... but I will point out when a company does better.

Things I've bought from Rottec : Carbon fiber rear wing, carbon fiber GT3 side skirts, carbon fiber rear diffuser, Rims.
Things I've bought from MACarbon: 2 custom steering wheels, carbon fiber hood badge, carbon fiber shift **** tops.

What is your personal experience? I'm in no way putting down Rottec but I will say again, there is a difference.

I would think Werks1 parts are worth the extra $$, but I've never owned any.

 

+1 Leo there are plenty of complaints regarding Rotec(which I do have on my car) regarding fitment. Most people overlook this as the cost is competitive.

Rottec MFG is done in a low cost region, MACarbon is not.

You just bought a werks 1 front lip. Go buy a rottec TA systle lip for over 1/2 the cost and tell me your werks 1 lip is not worth it.

 

This is an open forum and many people come here to check on reviews for different products (including myself) it will be very helpful is you tell me why you dislike Rottec

I don't have a lot of experience but I was searching and MANY people like Rottec for their price sensitive and the quality of their products.

I think Werks1 are worth every penny or even more... It's not only about the looks is about aerodynamics, quality & etc

Anyone I'm no in Rottec payroll so please don't get me wrong, I just want some reviews because I'm about to buy the CF mirrors from DB or Rottec.

 

Leo no worries there are several examples out there on the forum regarding fitment issues. Not banging on Rottec here as they have happy customers but regardless of how good customer service is with such vendors it comes down to product quality first.

I think my Rottec diffuser looks great however it is not as robust nor near the fit of a TA or Werks piece.

OP/Leo- all I can say is you get what you pay for 99% of time, expensive products exceed your expectations and cheaper ones meet your expectations because they are cheap. Good luck.

 

I'm glad we had this discussion because I was ready to buy the mirrors from them.... I guess I just save some more money and get the good ones...

You guys are right! I saw the fake front lip from Agency shower and you can't compare the quality with Werks1 front lip.
