Price check for a 2008 cab and over rev questions, I must act fast on this car
Is $60k a good price for a 2008 convertible with 58k miles.
I am going to look at the car today. It has one accident on the car fax. It is a automatic so do you need to look into over-rev's?
Is a PPI necessary if the car runs fine?
The MSRP was $150k when new.

All that said..I would not rush into any purchase. There are others..many others for sale...unless yo just have $60K extra to throw away..I would take your time and think it through before purchase.

Good luck!

$60K doesn't seem bad. Depends on lots of factors. How bad was the accident? I mean these ARE CARS. If minor and repaired, just take that into account $$, as you will deal with it if/when you sell. Mileage is a bit high, but again consider it in price you offer. PPI always a good idea. Over revs...not too worried on tips.

Good advice.
I am going to look at the car today. Then get a PPI.
The price isn't that great considering the mileage and accident?
I hope the seller has service records.
Just looked at it. Bad paint work on 80percent of car, bubbles and imperfection from low quality paint work. Maybe a coolant leak as it was low and some dripping from front of the car. Oil or some fluid on a line behind back passenger rear tire under engine. Runs great and very fast. I guess it's not even worth $60k? Also carbon fiber trim not glued down and would have to fixed.

Lmao! Really? Have the local police escort you away
You should def be looking at this one from "Leo997TT". At 63k, it's a pretty good deal. He is motivated to sell from what I understand. Jump on it!
60K seems fair. I do not think 997 TTs are in the 50K range yet.
Front-end leaks: the L joints at the radiators can leak. Depending on where you take your car they may want to replace the radiators or they can repair the joints. Happened to me.
Paint work: 80% of the car with bubbles and poorly done -- as in more than just bumpers and maybe a quarter panel, but literally 80% of the car? Seems like a bad sign and an indication this was more than a "minor" accident. A minor accident can require a front/rear bumper re-paint and maybe one quarter panel, but if you're seeing that most of the paint on the car has had work I think this was more than a minor accident.
Over-Revs: I have no idea why this would even be a concern on an automatic car. I think the hysteria about DME reports is actually getting pretty insane at this point...
Oil leak picture: This is an oil send or oil return component of the Turbo. I know because I had to disconnect it on my car to do my spark plugs. As gunked up as it looks, it is my guess that this is a slow leak -- if it was a fast leak, I can't imagine someone wouldn't have fixed it and cleaned it up by now. It still needs to be repaired. Perhaps could be as simple as replacing seals and re-seating the oil lines. Hopefully an experienced mechanic can chime in with further detail.

The problem with Carfax is you rarely know the full gravity of the accident just by reading it. In the near future I hear they will be including accident photos with the reports (where available) so you will be able to see whether it is a serious incident or a minor fender bender.
In this car's case, if you're serious, you'd want it on an alignment rack and have a mechanic do a full PPI if you're interested. The poor paintwork could be from re-clearing the entire car.

Something you may want to think of, about an accident report on a carfax. When you go to purchase a vehicle with a "bad" carfax, the seller will not put as much weight behind the carfax, as they will when you go to trade it in. It seems that if the carfax report is a big deal when you sell or trade in a vehicle, it should matter as much when you are buying.
