Hi Gents,

Im a proud owner of a new to me 997 Turbo in the lovely macadamia colour with sand interior. I think it a great retro colour scheme.

Im looking to continue the retro theme and replace the wheels with some modern retro wheels. I think the 993 RS wheels would look awesome with colour coded centers and polished lips. However all the replica 993RS wheels or similar style wheels, i can only find in 18 inch sizes, has anyone come across any of these reps in 19 inch format?

I would go with the 18s but i think they would look to small?

I presume there are no picture anywhere of a 997 turbo with 993 rs style wheels?

Fuchs makes a really nice retro wheel in the correct fitment, also porsche has that Fuchs tyle classic rim they sell. I believe member xseal has those rims.

these RS Rims look awesome, only wish they came in 19s

 

I had a 997.1 TT w Sport Classics. I switched cars to a 2012 C4S and bought the reps made by Ruger. Great quality,great price too. I eventually painted them BBS Gold
It was a waste of $ buying the OEs

The Fuchs are straight up UGLY. It takes a serious set of wheels to REALLY do up the slightly bland shape of the 997tt. Find a nice set of HRE or ADV1 or alike and do them in copper or gold or even rose gold.

 

No man, they're very retro 930ish looking, not ugly at all.

 

I hate they way they look on the late models....

RAVSPEC sells Work Meister SI3P in matte bronze face,glossy bronze lip.
Will look great on your car. They have pix of this combo there.

 

Sport Classics, not ugly. You can buy a new set from Suncoast for 3995.

 

The spokes are too wide and too vague. This car needs a little sharpness

they really look like **** always wondered who bought them now I know lol!

not to mention they are heavy like hell... why would you wanna hinder performance to have a ****ty old looking wheel...

for the money you can get a nice set of forged wheels.
