update on exhaust tip painting

I did the shake and bake paint thing about a year ago and it has worked out well. I used the Rust-Oleum "high Heat" 2000 degree stuff-following the instructions on the can. Figured I didn't have anything to lose and would be worth the small investment. The paint has held up just fine. The edges look more like satin then flat-maybe some wax or detail spray has come in contact with them-I just wash them and pay them no special attention at all.Click image for larger version

He'd have to in order to get 100% coverage.

Yes. The "bake" part is just that-shake the can, spray (after some light sanding) -and then you bake them in your oven-3 cycles of this-its spelled out on the can about the bake temp and timing. Taking the tips off is easy.
