Heavy Clutch Intermittently

I have an upgraded Sach 2.5 clutch and all has been well with it until about a week ago where the clutch pedal seems to intermittently be heavy to depress. I believe when the engine is revving the clutch is easy to depress however at start up or when idling it is intermittently heavy. Whats the issue?

I've got the same clutch and similar symptoms. There is a thread in the 996 section about this issue and it sounds like the accumulator is the culprit, possibly an early sign of failure. I had my accumulator and slave cylinder changed last year so I hope that's not it!

+1

I have the same problem. Doing the GT2 slave conversion to get rid of the accumulator when I put my new clutch in.

It's essentially a wear item at the rate they seem to fail. I replaced mine last year.
