Nice race. I am a little surprised with equal HP that the Nissan pulls away like that. I would think the Aero and weight of the Porsche would win at that speed.

 

Amazing how big the GTR looks next to the TT. When they're side by side it looks like the camera man is looking up at the GTR.

And the GTR seems to have quite a but more power on the top end.

Yeah that's my car. Very close race. Usually when Porsche and GTR has same power, Porsche is faster but not this time, he has more power i think

Very cool! I think the GTR was sandbagging on his power. TT should have pulled him.

 

6 gear vs 5 gear gearboxes.

Porsche shifts to 4th gear at about 200-205km/h.

GTR has shorter gears above 200kmh where it starts to move away slowly.

Porsche needs more mid range torque or shorter 4th gear to compete with same power.

 

Also turbos differences??

 

You are right Emre, i have weak midrange, not because of displacement, it's my tune on syvecs. It was made not to destroy tip, i ll retune in few days

 

Same turbos, gtx3582. I have now 0,63 ar, he have 0,82
