*****Please steal this Rolex Submariner date away from me*****

I have this Rolex Submariner Date (16610) and it was worn about 3 times total. If I didn't tell you then you would think it was brand spanking new.

YOU WILL NOT SEE A PRICE LIKE THIS FROM ME AGAIN!!!

I stole it away from a dealer and now I want YOU to steal it away from me. The customer tried it on for a day and decided he wanted a gold one so he brought it back. Dealer sold it to me cheap!

List price is $4,525 and dealers typically do not discount them. I will let this one go to the first commitment I get at only $3,995. That is the cheapest Sub on the planet gentlemen!

NO SALES TAX EITHER!!!

Call me at 917-682-5820 or email thewatchcollector@gmail.com.

$4K for 16610? I'll source one in the next 10 mins for 3.5. Anyone want one? It'll be "used" but close enough to NIB for that price.

The price for a pretty much new one is excellent. If you disagree I respectfully invite you not to purchase it from me. If you have nothing positive to add I further respectfully invite you to stay the **** off my thread!

Also, judging by your quick (read: wrong) response here:

You seem to be the real Rolex expert.

Thanks!

I agree with Stryke 100%. Why would you chime in on someone else's ad saying that you could sell the same item for less if you don't have the item in the exact condition that is being offered? If you have something for sale list it in a separate ad and let people decide which to buy. There is more to purchasing a second hand Rolex than price alone. Of greater importance is the reputation of the person selling the item.

Robert,

I couldn't agree more. I often pay more for a reputable dealer's item than for an identical item from someone I do not know. Regardless, it is a great price and anyone with any Rolex knowledge knows this. We already know "Trek's" opinion of Rolex by his previous comments noted above in my link. Go buy a Rolex from someone who calls them thieves selling overpriced watches.

1. Stryke- wanna buy a 16610? Let me know. I'll overnight it monday.

2. The question was "would rolex make a custom watch with some form of exposition on the face (balance/etc)?" The answer was and is "no". Making someone pay 5 grand for a diamond bezel is not a "custom job" by rolex or anyone else.

Forget diamond bezel. I have a friend who special ordered a platinum Daytona with custom dial. They do not even make platinum Daytona's. Also, the rock from WWE has a SS Sub Date with ice blue diamond dial which was specially made to his order. A one of a kind. They charge a hefty premium for this but they do it. It was particularly your comment about them selling over priced watches that I was pointing out to illustrate your biased opinion of the brand. Again, what do all of your comments have to do with you hijacking my for sale thread?

i think you should start your own thread on selling your own watches. also think that the term "custom" would include the ability to order a diamond bezel.
