Black Turbo / Aluminium Grills _ Photo Request

Would like to see aluminium grills on black turbo. How do they look?

Maybe add to that a set of DRLs....

I don't understand why they wouldn't put them further back, behind the horizontal slats. I've seen some DIY jobs that look much better with the grills behind the slats. And black grills would blend in much better.

After cleaning out my radiators yesterday, it doesn't seem like these grills would do much. My radiators were full of very small pebbles (caught in the fins), and small bits of leaves and wood, all of which would still make it past these grills.

I fashioned my own in black anodized stainless aluminum and put DRL's...Also changed out all lights to LED to match the Litronic Headlamps... Think it looks pretty good...But biased Not the best pictures..but yo get the idea

These are the best grills I've seen by far. I didn't want to add grills to my car, but these are making me re-think my decision. Very nice work.

Thank you. I did them a while back and they are holding up very well. I put together a DIY on how I did them with photos..If Interested just search this site as I think I posted two PDF's on how I went about it.

Good luck!

Hi.These are the Agency Power version. Not too bad to install...although the front bumper cover will need to come off..But while you have it off...you can install some black grills

Not really. There are not a lot of options here, but I have already had to pull them apart and re-seal them. I bought these on eBay with "slight blemishes - not noticeable" from Vivid Racing. They were $600 instead of $1000 a pair. When they came apart and started getting moisture in them, Vivid said there was no warranty because I bought them as-is...But agreed that if I would take them off and send to them, they would fix them, by pulling them apart and using black silicon caulk....They sent me instructions on how to do it myself...which I chose to do instead of all the hassle of removing and shipping to Vivid and waiting for them to re-caulk them (which I can/did do).

So....I love the way DRL's look on the car, but the light colors are not consistent across the blade (slight shade differences)...And even though I am poor and only spent $600, and not $1000, I would have thought they would have lasted more than ~ 4 months before coming apart and leaking...

So that is JUST MY EXPERIENCE....Others may have awesome lights...awesome service....awesome experience...But I did not...Maybe I am too cheap ?

Wish there was a cleaner, better quality solution that was reasonable priced...But I kept my OEMS if they ever fully flake out! And they look pretty good on the car...
