My first Porsche

Greetings everyone!

New guy here. I recently bought a manual 2007 911 Turbo in altas grey with beige interior. Love the color combo! I bought the car second hand, but the previous owner took excellent care of her. He had the dealership install a GT3RS flywheel, fabspeed intake and headers, billet BRVs, and an EVOMS clutch kit (as well as a few driver mods). I think the only thing it's missing is a reflash. Still trying to decide which one. After everything I've read, I narrowed it down to the EVOMSit or APR tune. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I recently moved to Charlotte, NC. Does anyone know any reputable shops in the area?

My first race with the turbo is less than 2 weeks away in Clayton, GA. Is anyone going to the 1/2 mile event? Last year I saw a yellow 996 turbo with a few mods. Gorgeous car!

I hope y'all like the pictures. They were taken at dawn after I dedicated about 15 hours detailing the paint and interior. Enjoy!

Welcome and congratulations!! The Atlas Grey is stunning in those pictures What's the mileage on that beast? I think you should consider a LED Kit to show off that stunning interior, if you haven't already. For more information Click Here. Enjoy

Hey there,

I am also in the Charlotte (Matthews), NC region and just picked up a 2007 Arctic Silver TT 2-3 weeks ago. Haven't had any real work done yet (I've done some minor stuff already myself), but after talking to people there are several places nearby that can help you. GMP performance and Euro-wise are two performance based shop that work on Porsche's frequently. GMP are dealers for APR and I believe Evolution Motorsports for tuning purposes. Hendrick Porsche now employs Euro-wise's top Porsche technician (Jim Burton?) and so I would also use them as needed.

I will be taking my car to Hendrick over the next week or so to install an OEM Porsche short shifter kit. I've already had the side rock guards (clear coat) replaces, tinted the windows, installed a USP Motorsports LED kit, and replaced the front spoiler lip guard.

Enjoy the new car, and hopefully I'll see you around.

Russell
