after market exhaust for around $2k ?

Is there an exhaust that sounds more aggressive than stock (997 turbo) and exists for about $1,500 - $2,000 USD ?

or will I be buying used ?

It will be essentially impossible to find a new, decent aftermarket full exhaust (with cats, etc.) for 1500-2k. The cheapest I've seen new exhausts would be around 2400-2500 with using the OEM tips.

I think the best bang for your buck would be to pickup a regularly 3500-5000k exhaust used for 1700-2500 in the marketplace here. Most of the time there are little miles on the exhaust and you are getting a great deal. You would be getting a far superior exhaust this way then trying to buy new for 2k.

I would be all over the Kline if it didn't hang below the rear bumper. It must not bother most people because most of the exhaust systems I've seen do the same thing, but I just can't live with that on a $150K+ car. Its a shame because it looks like Kline builds some high quality stuff, and it sounds great in the videos.

Other than the EP2, which I don't like because of the weight, there isn't an exhaust out there that meets my criteria. Very surprising considering the huge number of companies building exhaust for these cars. My only option is custom. I'll get around to it eventually.

We manufacture an X-Pipe system that does not fall below the bumper line and is very reasonably priced. It is available with or without cats and with or without mufflers (the muffled versions include inline mufflers located on the top pipe), which keeps the system profile high on the bottom. We also offer satin black ceramic coating of the entire system for a really nice look!

Our 997.1TT X-Flow sound is absolutely phenomenal and regularly evokes unsolicited compliments from bystanders and fellow auto enthusiasts - customer feedback is well documented on our testimonials web page. We have quiet, medium and loud versions in both 2.5 and full 3" versions. All systems are manufactured in the USA, using the best quality domestic stainless steel available.

If anyone is interested, please call, email or PM and we will be happy to assist you in choosing the right system for your sound and performance goals.

Below is a picture of our straight 997.1TT 3.0 X-Pipe (no mufflers) with cats and OEM tips. The muffled version has round, in-line mufflers between the tips and the "X"...

Not at the moment, but we do have some systems going out shortly and hope to receive some video back, which we will make available.

Since we are in need of video on these systems, we are offering a "discount in exchange for video" promotion to anyone interested. We have a very attractive deal available - PM if you would like more information and I can tell you all about it...
