Burnouts!
Burnouts!
I come from a background of muscle cars and swapped motor cars and one thing I love is a big smokey burnout.
Is there any way to electronically disengage the front drive of a 997TT? I miss the smell of tires on fire!

Nope. You have to disconnect the prop and remove the awd!
But then all the electronics for the traction control and etc. will be out of whack. Do a search on making an awd turbo into a rear wheel drive turbo.
Also, an achilles heel would be that the rear differential, the turbos don't come with an LSD.

Save yourself the headache of messing around with the front diff. Simply wait until it gets a little cooler and turn off PSM. It's not recommended you try this the first time in traffic of course but you get the point. Plenty of power in a turbo to brake the tires loose.
The thing that i do not get is why you want to treat your beautiful car (that can near enough out handle anything and has amazing straight line performance) so badly!
Just buy a cheap E36 or E46 M3 and burn the hell out of it
