A little info on the car.

2012 Porsche 911 Turbo S with a PDK transmission.

Thanks to extensive ECU tuning and an Akrapovic exhaust it is pushing 620 HP which obviously makes it a monster. Feel free to ask questions

Just one piece of friendly advice however...it's a REALLY bad idea to rev the engine on a PDK car when it's in Park like that. Move the selector to "neutral" if you want to get some revving vids...

 

Thanks for the tip! What about the PDK doesn't like being revved in park?

 

The clutches are still spinning when it's in park. It may not cause any harm...but better safe then sorry.

Sounds pretty good.
But, if you're gonna drive like that get a real radar detector, the cordless s2/3 are not up to the job IMO. (And cover your license plates)
Damn, you guys are gettin younger, that driver looks about 15!

 

Just incredible how fast that PDK is... every time I watch vids like this I'm blown away how easy it is for any bloke to get in the car and drive/shift and get it up to speed with out any serous skill. Not that you guys don't have skill - but I'm sure you know what I mean. Testament to the underlying technology, so clinical in nature, even though it comes at a loss to some of that emotion and soul some of us grew up with.

Oh, and yes - sounds fantastic

 

Probably not wise to post your car, your full license plates, and a series of speed violations in a convenient youtube video for your local law enforcement.

 

Camera focused on the dash the whole time made me feel like I was watched a bad version of the Blair Witch Project....I got motion sick. Seriously buy a $15 camera mount.

 

Yea the transmission is truly epic. Has the power to make any average Joe the most competent and fast driver on the road.
