Catless exhaust help

Hey guys,

I just picked up a .2 turbo vert pdk. Putting an akrapovic slip on system on Monday (mufflers and tips). 90% of the people I know in the car industry are telling me to run catless, and EVOMS is telling me to do hi flow cats as the turbos get out of whack not having the back pressure eventually.

Need to know what you all are finding out there. Prior car was a .1TT coupe with BBI 200 cell cat system and EVOMS tune which sounded great and made great power. Before that a CLK63 Black Series kleemann built...so basically I like power, and NO DRONE as I drive my cars 1500-2000 miles per month.

Please help me figure out whether to be catless or find hi flow cats...my dealer says any changes to stock cats can void the warranty, so that's a moot point. Need to have exhaust finalized before getting car tuned.

"Moot"
No cats = more noise. I think running sport cats will give you the mix of sound and power you want. Let us know.

No cats. DFI .2 engine is very quiet. My Europipe without Cats is perfect but wouldn't mind if it was a bit louder. Turbo's don't like backpressure anyway.

997.1 cab.

I run the Protomotive x pipe with no cats, zero drone. Some say this design has the least back pressure possible while maintaining no drone.

Can you buy HJS cats or car deletes that'll bolt up to the akra system?

Here is a clip of my car pulling off. It has an FVD catless system.

Ok since I already have the Akrapovic muffler and tips, would you do a cat delete, or are there cats like an HJS 200 cell system that could bolt up to it? Not interested in spending $4260 for the akrapovic cats lol

I would also recommend catless. I can go further in depth through PM if you'd like.

Just get some delete pipes made up cheaper than getting cats. If you are not happy you can add cats later.

I was told that .2 turbos make better power with catted exhaust.
