Are you talking about a brand new 2014 E63S or the older 2012-2013 E63?

We have catted and non-catted downpipes available for that car. We also have a set on the shelf at Broadway Performance in New Jersey if you are interested. They can easily install them for you. You can also talk to John at Broadway Performance about tunes for your car. If you need a contact for John, please send me a PM.

I am interested as well.
Seems most posts in the AMG section are wheels and tint

I am looking for a tune that is loadable with a handheld.
So it can be pulled prior to dealer visits

No tuner has loadable handhelds at the moment. I just tuned my 2014 CLS63-S at RENNtech and it was the best decision ever. Its scary fast

Also, I just attended a Dyno day at Rage-tek and there was a 2013 CLS63 that dynoed before and after installing catless downpipes and the gains were only 10hp and 11tq. Down pipes seem to be a sound upgrade rather than performance.

Ok, DPs are off the list

No handhelds?? So you had to send your ECU to Renntech?
AMS, MHP and Weistec all have tunes that have no handhelds. What made you go with Renntech? did they make more? or just your preference?

The street-legal downpipes are making more power than the off-road downpipes with most company's tunes. I don't know of any tune that has been really custom tailored to take advantage of the off-road downpipes that I have found yet.

Maybe someone else can chime in with a tune that makes big power with the off-road downpipes.

I chose RENNtech for two reasons.

One, because they are only an hour from me and I've used them with many of my cars with great results. More importantly, I'm fortunately to have two friends with 2013 CLS63's, one with a Eurocharged tune and catless downpipes and the other with just a RENNtech tune. My buddy with just a RENNtech tune runs about two tenths quicker in the 1/4 mile and put down 50 more hp on the same dyno (same day too). The Eurocharged tune was also a custom dyno tune. That really moved me to RENNtech for this car.

I would only use AMS, Renntech or Weistec for this car as they seem to be producing the best tunes as of now. And yes, you must send them your ECU if you are not close by.

I hope this helps.

That maybe very true. As I stated in the post above you, I was at a Eurocharged custom tune day and their custom tune for a 2013 CLS63 with catless downpipes made 50 less rwhp than the RENNtech tune only car. Hopefully, we can get better tunes with this setup. Even renntech told me I would not see significant results with their pipes.

I have a Kleemann tune on my G63. Recently added off-road down pipes with a new Kleemann tune and made big gains over tune only.

That is great news to hear that the Kleemann tune is making significant power with the off-road pipes. Our testing was done with an ML63 and on that particular car the street-legal pipes made a bigger improvement than the off-road pipes. I was surprised that was the case but it is what it is.
