Tires!! Hankook R-S3 versus Bridgestone S4's? (19")

Anyone have any recommendations for Hankook R-S3's versus Bridgestone S4's?
My 997 turbo is primarily street driven (rarely wet I live in Socal) with occasional track time. I'm looking for a grippy tire.
S4's at Tirerack in 235/35/19 and 305/30/19 are $832 for the set.
A local shop who sponsors the Hankook GTR has the R-S3's in 305/30/19 for $1050 set.
Are the R-S3's worth the extra ~$200?
