Installe Wheel Spacers?

The next low cost mod I'm thinking of are FVD 7mm (front) and 15mm (rear) wheel spacers to push my tires out a little. I also understand they increase handling and driveability too. Who's done this and would you recommend it? Thanks.

I've been reading about this. There's a lot of back info if you search. Seems like a lot of ppl like H&R. 7/15 seem like a good size! I'd like to get a set soon too!

If you're going to lower the car... a must (for me) on stock rims. Else the tires look recessed into the wheel wells.

Yep...I have 7mm Front and 15mm Rear. Perfect setup for these. Tires are nice and flush, with a slightly wider stance.

I would go for it!

Hey....Thanks! I actually did not....and do not think it is required. I did happen to get new tires since then and did have the dealer do an all wheel alignment.....But again...Do not think it is required.

Good luck....

Just an opinion....But I do not think it would be too much..I could easily see 3 more mm (not) protruding on my car....

Loved them on my '06 C4S...When I take the winter rims/tires of the TT and switch to the summer rubber, I'll put the H&R spacers (7mm/15mm) on it. The only thing that improves IMHO, is the looks of the car, with or without lowering. I don't feel there is a handling difference.

Although I try not to drive in the winter when there is new salt/sand/lots of snow, I don't use the spacers during winter as I prefer the crud to get more under the wheel wells and less onto the body/wheel arches. You'll noticed more spray on the bodywork with the spacers installed, albeit minimal.

I have the FVD 7mm/15mm setup lowered on KW's. No rubbing issues. Go for it!
