Just purchased 1965 Shelby Cobra Superformance #1309!
Purchased from a superformance dealer Hillbank in Irvine, CA. They will be shipping to Michigan on Wednesday. They say it is spotless and certainly looks that way from the pics and vids I have seen. So excited for Spring!

Congrats.... as a fellow "cobra" owner I'll tell you that there are few cars on the road that get the attention or give the driving experience.
Please be careful. These cars are a handful and will kill you if you don't respect it. It probably has less power than both the CTS-V and GT700, but the 90" wheelbase and power to weight ratio will scare the **** out of you

I believe that TC has ruled that they can be imported if over 15 years old. And Superformance has been around since '96, so you could import one.
There are also some manufacturers that are available in Canada....
Congratulations. You are going to love it!
I sold my Superformance #1488 and regret it every day!
Not sure where you are located in Michigan, but if you are close to the South Bend, Elkhart Indiana area, there a few owners here that are pretty active. You may even want to ask for membership in the Facebook Superformance Owners Group. Lots of good people there.

The odd one pops up for sale up here, but they won't even let the parts come in now.
Shannon at WesternMotorsports use dot build them too.
If you have proof that it was registered more than 15 years ago you can bring them in. Trust me. I know of a few of them and its done all the time. I know of 2 that came in last summer in my city alone. Ive seen them and sat in them. They used brokers and had the right paperwork.
