Hey all,

I was looking into the IPE valved exhaust (just the muffler) because i have the option of turning it off anytime with a press of a button (remote controller).

This option is important to me as we have many police inspections in random places and they are becoming very strict about loud exhaust mods.

I can't tell if it sounds nice from the youtube videos. I like a deep tone, not too loud! I want to still be able to hear the person next me hehee

Any opinions about it?

 

yes they have good systems and amazing videos. Particularly the exhaust video they have for the 991 Carrera S.

How much are they for the turbo?

 

I was just looking into this exhaust and was quoted a great price however, the system does not include cats

 

My problem is that videos don't give the right sound reflection. So I would like to read from members who have the exhaust or heard it.

I was told by the supplier here in Kuwait that they sell for about $ 3,700 shipped, but i should be getting a good discount and have it for $ 2,850 shipped.

If the prices sound lower than normal then it must be excluding shipping

 

I don't think my price include cats either. Its the muffler by itself, nothing else.

Forget cats - dont need em.

 

I know but having no cats makes tune the car a necessity since there would be no other way to clear CEL afaik

I'm still in doubt about this IPE exhaust

I don't want to repeat what I did with my BMW M3, ended up buying and selling about 4 exhaust systems until I kept the one I liked! The first bunch were either too loud or sounded terrible

IPE owners, come on.
