Champion/GIAC 997.2 Stage 1 vs Stage 2 Tune

I put the following vid together which I think visually captures how much faster the GIAC/Champion Stage 2 tune is compared to Stage 1.

Enjoy:

EDIT - Forgot to mention this (Posted on page 2):

By the way gents, I forgot to mention another significant advantage with going Stage 2 - is that turbo lag is virtually eliminated. While the revised tune might have helped a bit, it's probably due more to the exhaust. But the combination of the two have reduced lag dramatically. If lag (created from flooring it) in 2nd gear @ 40 mph stock was 500 milliseconds (half a second) and tuned + plenum was 333 milliseconds (a third of a second), with the exhaust and Stg 2 tune is it has been reduced to maybe 50 milliseconds now. Throttle response is almost that of an N/A car.

Does the Champion tune maintain your warranty or is it voided.

Can you confirm you are running stock spark plugs?

Why is GIAC the only people who use the stock plugs?? (good thing)

Awesome. Huge difference. Is the "9 sec file" a race file/fuel? Also what fuel did you use in the first run (stage 1)?

This file has increased performance on both pump and race fuels. I believe Champion was running 10.0-10.1 on pump fuel with this calibration installed.

Yes, he runs factory spark plugs.

I can't comment why others force changes, but we've never had issues with factory spark plugs. Because of that, we've seen no reason to change them.

Those are amazing results, disregarding everything else i would choose GIAC just because of the utilizing of stock plugs. Seems anything else is just a band-aid however the information about the reasons are very limited.
