LED Tails EBAY?

I have a small crack on my drivers side taillight and thought about replacing them with LED taillights. While Searching online I ran across these LED tails on Ebay, has anyone given them a try? I typically steer clear from Ebay aftermarket for my cars but for the price this may be worth trying out. Thoughts?

they look cheaply made IMO. For double the price, you can get better looking rottec style tail lights.

Those look like the RotTec design (Not that that is a good thing )...Maybe you will be lucky...Seems cheap enough to try?

Good luck!

Does anyone make a LED tail where the lighting is solid (Similar to Audi). The tails with the individual lights look funny to me sometimes, I think a solid light band would be smoother.

this are the rotec. I have the same in smoke on my turbo. Dectane looks much nicer but the dectane are not as dark as yours in the link.

Currently there only 2 types of aftermarket leds available. Dectane and Depo?

...to your Audi pic, you have to buy a 991.

unfortunately there is no one that does the audi style as far as i know. Rottec style is different to the ones on your ebay link. The ones on ebay looks like it has a 'lazy eye'. Compare clear lens positions.

yah996, these are not rottec's. Dectanes and depo are the same design as well if i remember right.

To the OP, basically there is style1 (rottec/del-ray), style2 (dectane/depo) and style3 (the ebay ones) for the 997.1 models.

Carlightpro distributes (not makes) the Dectane/Depo version...and they do use a resistor pack that plugs into the light fixture. You can see it the install video. I purchased mine from Carlightpro and they have been working without issue for almost 3 years.
