New Daily to go along with the 997
I bought my car with the standard non-adjustable suspension. It is firm but by no means uncomfortable. The handling is excellent and very confidence inspiring. The best handling car I have owned other than my various race cars!
PS: The brakes are excellent!!

Nice M3, but why not use your 997 as a DD? A 911 is the best DD made IMHO. I currently use my 997.2 TTS as my DD which replaces my previous DD, a 991 C2S.

I would consider the 997/911 as a decent daily driver, but by no means is it even close to the best. Even if you don't need back seats/storage, there are other cars that click all the boxes and much cheaper than the Porsche. The M3 is a prime example. Same with the C63 and if you need awd the RS5. Sure these cars aren't going to lap the Ring as quicky, but we are talking DD.
Congrats! I have one as well. I love the Sakhir orange interior. I went with the standard suspension and I love it. The car did excellent at both SPA and the Nurburgring
Mine should be back in mid August. Can't wait. Ultimate daily driver, IMO.

The biggest thing for me on my DD is that i want it to be comfortable, easy in/out, and have some luggage/ppl capacity. And i dont think the 911 has the storage capacity. I mean its pretty good (vette was better) but not enough for like big grocery runs and stuff like that. And lastly. A car that you dont have to worry about road hazards/parking lots/speed bumps ect is nice too of course; although with nice cars i know us enthusiasts are always careful.
