Those wheels are nice...they really show off the red caliper.

I agree about the color on a silver car....eventually I had to have my stock 997.2 centerlock wheels painted. They just looked too similar to the GT Silver color and I had to have some contrast. They are at BBi being stripped/powdercoated and painted satin charcoal now.

I think they really look nice, and I believe that the close match to GT silver is attractive.
What offsets did you get?

Cheers,

Really looking forward to seeing your refinished wheels. My Cl's are a dark grey metallic and kind of hide the details of the wheel. I've thought about graphite or titanium, somewhere between what I have and a silver finish. I suspect the charcoal finish will really complement your silver exterior.

I think it would look meaner with black or gunmetal personally. I run OZ's in black so Im biased of course.

Thanks "GMoney" That is the same set I am looking at. They look like 18's? are they?

BTW, "Car-Narcissist" you didn't state the diameter of the rim. Can you provide that?

Thanks,

Unfortunately the charcoal/satin centerlocks did not look good on a silver car.

What I didn't realize is that the GT Silver metallic has a wide range of hues depending on the lighting and so there still wasn't enough contrast.

So the wheels are off again to be painted gloss black (again). So the saying goes..."once you go black, you never go back"
