Will the GT2 rear sway bar fit 2010+ 997.2 turbo

Newbie alert. I have tried the search and go through a lot of post. I know for sure the gt2 sway bars will fit the .1 997 turbos and is used as an upgrade. But will it fit the 2010+ 997.2 turbos with the different 3.8 turbo engine? Still an upgrade option when only changing the rear sway bar in the .2? I did tried the search and could not find a clear answer for the .2s? Thanks

Jose

Sorry I don't know about the GT2 sways but soon I will have BBI Autosport install the GT3 RS sways on my 997.2 turbo S which I understand are a direct fit. The GT3 is a totally different motor (NA of course) so perhaps the GT2 sways would fit also.

Thanks. Any info on how is this bar an upgrade for the one on the 997.2tt? Diameter? Adjustability? %Stiffer per adjustment? vs stock. I have no idea.
My car is under warranty and don't want to start taking shocks and subframe apart. Just looking into combining a stiffer adjustable rear swaybar with the DSC from TPC.

You know these are all excellent questions. Spring rate is affected by the away bar and both should be paired correctly. I would definitely contact a place that specializes in custom suspension setups for 997's such as BBI Autosport or GMG, particularly is you are planning on keeping the stock shocks and maybe just changing springs and sways.

Get the adjustable sway bars from TPC. They have them tuned for the turbo. The GT2 is so different than the turbo, that I would get a bar specifically for the turbo.

BTW, I have the DSC module plus the sway bars and a whole of host of other suspension pieces that TPC put on the car. The car handles amazingly well as all the parts are designed for the turbo in my case.

FedEx is delivering the DSC box tomorrow. Hope is as good as the reviews says. Completely stock suspension. I'm looking into combining the TPC DSC with a more aggressive alignment & 245/35/19 (f)-305/30/19(r) PSS and if there still some understeer I will look into replacing sway bars. I will prefer not to remove the front subframe, thus looking into just playing with the rear as a lot of 997.1tt owners have successfully done.

I ordered the h&r sways for my .2 turbo and was told that the rear bar won't work on a pdk turbo that's lowered. This was from a highly reputable Porsche tech. He has contacted h&r on the issue and is waiting for a solution. Anyone else heard of this?
