Allow me to re-introduce myself...
Gents,
A few years back I was close to pulling the trigger on a 996tt but I instead bought an outstanding e60 M5, whose sound will forever haunt my dreams. Those cars are a lot to maintain, but bang for the buck it doesn't get a lot better.
I'm lucky to have a good friend that's partner in PMC Detroit, who always keeps me in the loop on really great cars that come around. I moved into the Seattle area earlier this year and get to walk to work, so I don't really need a big daily driver anymore. When he sent me this, I pulled the trigger right away. Had the wheels painted, paint protection (Flame suite on: even had them add the roof since I'll be one of those hated here with a carbon road bike/snowboards on a rack). This car will be no garage queen despite the fact I don't have a commute.
Car is a '09 CPO with just over 6k miles, and all of the must have's on my list. Should ship any day out to the PNW. I've been a long time lurker on these boards, it's a really great community that I'm looking forward to being more active in.

First, welcome to Seattle. I work and live on the east side (Bellevue) and am thinking about buying a 997TT as well. Sold my E60 M5 a little while ago as well. Your new car is beautiful. Good find. Maybe Ill see you running around sometime. In the Spring there is a weekly car gathering called the Exotics @ Redmond Town Center that you should attend. Lots of great cars and cool people.

A word of caution, the police in the WA area are extremely strict when it comes to speeding so if you dont have one get a good radar detector or better yet a laser shifter/radar detector combo. The Hwy Patrol uses mostly laser but the sheriff and local police are using radar.
Once I get my new car we can put some drives together.
Cheers.
