0 to 60 in 2.2 seconds. faster than ANYTHING on any street, any time. every time.

the grip on this thing is supposedly out of this world.
I didnt think Porsche would be able to outdo themselves with the cgt... but this thing is just bananas.

this beauty has the weissach package.

Wow that is incredible in black. Someone in my building drives a silver one every day to work lol. Wonder is any 1,000+ hp modified AWD cars like the TT Lambos or built GTRs could hang from a dead stop with street tires. Sure with slicks they could pull but that's not apples to apples. Never checked to see whether any of these highly modded Heffner, UGR or AMS cars has a high 9 at 150 on radials.

The 918 is 0-60 in 2.5 and a 214 mph car. AMS GT-R has gone 234 and 7.7 in the 1/4. The 918 would get obliterated. I'd still take the 918

I'm sure with plenty of truck loads of money you can beat the AMS GT-R which also took truck loads of money

These times are on slicks, not street tires like the 918.

The 918 is fully street legal with 200 or whatever treadwear tires. I want to see if something in 200 treadwear tires can match 0-60 in 2.2 and the quarter mile in high 9's. If it's drag radials or slicks, then it's not a good comparison.

Agreed on 0-60. It does look like GT-R's are running on street tires in the 9's though. I would love to drive the 918 though... can't even imagine how incredible that must be. I've owned a GT-R and I honestly didn't really care for it that much -- just wasn't all that engaging. It was very fast though.

I wasn't trying to stir anything up -- someone else brought up the GT-R (not me) and was generally curious how one would do... so I was giving my opinion (and certainly not down playing the amazing vehicle that the 918 is). Given street tires... I'd say "obliterated" certainly isn't the case by any means -- I'm wondering how the Porsche would do on real track tires properly warmed up on the street.
