Thumbs up ESmotor new Porsche World record - 9.09sec 1/4 mile
Hello guys,

I'm happy to announce that we broke the Porsche World record for 1/4 mile during our testing last weekend at Bahrain International Drag strip.

997 Turbo Tiptronic

9,09 @ 251km/h (156mph) - 32c (90F) weather

How do you get off the line? What RPM can you brake boost up to? Would you give the credit to getting out of the traps to your torque converter?

Congrats...more info on the car! 9.09secs suggests that high 8's might be possible?

According to EKanoo Racing (who the car belongs to), this car has an ES1400 package. If I'm not mistaken it's a 3.8L build with GT35's and ES Motors tiptronic upgrades.
